Hi Steve. Thank you for letting us know about this concern.

Customer names on invoices typically appear when you create, print, or send the invoice. However, since the name isn't showing in your invoices, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to address the issue and ensure that customer names display properly.

First, please check that your internet connection is stable, then refresh or reload your browser to ensure the page data has loaded correctly.

If the customer names still do not appear after confirming your connection and reloading the page, I recommend accessing your account in incognito or private mode to rule out any issues caused by accumulated browser data.

Below are the shortcuts to open private/incognito mode in your browser:

  • Chrome:
    • Ctrl + Shift + N (Windows/Linux).
    • ⌘ ⇧ N (Mac).

  • Edge:
    • Ctrl + Shift + N (Windows).
    • ⌘ ⇧ N (Mac).

  • Firefox:
    • Ctrl + Shift + P (Windows/Linux).
    • ⌘ ⇧ P (Mac).

  • Safari:
    • ⌘ ⇧ N (Mac).

Additionally, please ensure you are using a supported browser so QuickBooks works correctly and remains fully compatible.

Let us know if you need further assistance.
