why is my banking details on my invoice coming up twice - I tried to edit the invoice and it only shows it once

The reason it only shows once when editing is that one version is part of your live invoice data (the "Message to Customer" box). At the same time, the other is a static template setting (the "EFT Details" checkbox) that only generates when the PDF is rendered.

 

To stop both from appearing, follow these steps:

 

  1. Click the  Gear icon and select Custom Form Styles.
  2. Find your default invoice template and click Edit.
  3. Click the Content tab, then select the Bottom Section (Footer) in the invoice preview on the right.
  4. On the left-hand side, find the checkbox labeled Add your EFT details and uncheck it.
  5. Click Done.

 

After unchecking that box, open your invoice and click the Print or Preview. The set of details should be gone, leaving you with just the one clean set you see on your edit screen.
