Can't get SMS code to create online accountant account

Hi there, team. I am trying to create a QB online accountant account, but I can't get the verification code.

 

I even tried incognito mode, but that didn't work. Even when trying to log into an old account I already had, I still did not get the sms code and had to use an email to log in, so I'm stuck trying to create my account now. I am located in Jamaica.

One common reason you have not received SMS (Short Message Service) verification codes is due to carrier-level filtering. This occurs when your phone or mobile network automatically blocks or filters messages from short codes or unknown senders. To resolve this, check your phone settings to ensure these message types are allowed.

 

If you've verified your device settings and still aren't receiving the code, it could be that the message has been delivered to the SMS gateway, but it does not confirm that it was delivered to the recipient’s handset. In such cases, you'll want to contact your mobile service provider to allow messages from Intuit (AuthMsg) and ensure they are not being restricted.

 

In the meantime, you can try using a different phone number if you have one available to complete the setup. If you still can't get the code, please contact our QuickBooks Online Live Support team so they can look directly into your account security settings.
