Data retention period

As long as you have an active subscription, QuickBooks keeps your data with the same level of security used by banks and financial institutions. Otherwise, we hold on to your data for one year for paid and trial subscriptions after cancelation. This means you'll have read-only access to view your reports and lists within the year, and the company will be deleted after. Also, this lets you pick up where you left off if you decide to come back and easily access your account when resubscribing.
