I downloaded Quickbooks Online MacOS application. After I try to sign in I get a message " it tells me We didn't find any companies for this account". What should I do?

Hello there, Greg. When you see the message "We didn't find any companies for this account," it simply means the app recognizes your password, but it doesn't see a QuickBooks subscription attached to that specific ID. This error happens when the app needs to refresh its connection to your Intuit Profile.

 

To fix this, let's clear the cache of your Mac app:
 

  1. Open the QuickBooks App.
  2. In the top menu bar, click Help.
  3. Select Reset App data.
  4. Close the app and try signing in again.

 

If you can't still log in, you can use a supported browser to access your QuickBooks Online account at qbo.intuit.com.
