I have created a Journal Entry on 1 date in a financial year. Can I copy the contents of this Journal Entry into another one in next financial year?

Hello, @satyadev_rao.

 

Yes, you can copy the journal entry that you've initially created. I can guide you in doing so.

  1. Open the journal entry you've created.
  2. From the bottom portion of the screen, click More.
  3. Select Copy.
  4. Make the necessary changes to the journal entry.
  5. Click Save

You can also create a recurring journal entry. Just make sure to set its frequency or interval to Yearly. This way, the system will automatically create your account's journal entry.
