The mileage rate has been increased to £0.55/mile but the system is still set at £0.40. How can this be changed? Thanks

We're unable to manually modify the built-in system rate because QuickBooks automatically manages HMRC-approved simplified expense rates in the background. While this update should now be visible in your software, browser data or extensions may accumulate and interfere with the platform's proper functioning, preventing newly updated rates from being reflected correctly. We can troubleshoot the issue by logging in to your account using a private/incognito window or a different browser. This will help us confirm whether the approved mileage allowance payment rate of 55p per mile is accurately reflected in your records.
