Maybe this already exists, but is there a thread that just lists alternatives to Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Payroll?

Alternatives to QB Desktop are QB Online and other cloud based accounting apps. I can recommend some of them if required.

I am looking for alternatives also, I have used Quickbooks Desktop for over 20 years. Looking to switch as soon as I finish 1st Qtr payroll taxes. Nothing cloud, only desktop. We need payroll for 4 employees. I don't mind if the payroll service is a separate program from the accounting program.
