Let’s isolate the issue by determining whether it’s caused by recent QuickBooks Online (QBO) updates or by your browser.

 

To start, open a private (incognito) browser and sign in to QBO. It prevents the use of cached data, which can interfere with adding products and services to transactions.

 

Please refer to the guidelines below depending on your web browser.

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press CommandShift N

 

Then, create an invoice as usual to check whether you can add parts or labor. If the problem persists, we can try using a different supported browser to determine if the issue is browser-related.
