I received a call from one of the guy and also gave me a number +1 844-338-0449 for the support. If you will not update your QB then we are not responsible if anything happened with your company data. We are not getting your updated data hance you will not getting proper calculation reports. We will do it manually with connecting us and we will help to fix the issue. He was calling from +1760-338-0449.

I was almost going to connect with support.me.

Is this really support call? If not, the I request QB please notify all the customers to save them from this type of fraud.

I request all community members please ignore & don't gave them access on the above support sites.

I appreciate sharing your experience to alert other forum participants regarding the call you’ve received, @vijay6.

Please note that Intuit will only reach out if you request a callback about a QuickBooks issue. We want to assure you that we have strict policies and procedures in place to protect your data.

Let's report this suspicious activity to our Security team to prevent it from happening again and mitigate any potential security risks.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to our Privacy and Security page.
  2. Look for the Report technical support scams section.
  3. Click the Report tech support scams button.

If you receive a suspicious email or call in the future, please bookmark these articles. They provide information about Intuit's official service email addresses and tips on how to recognize our real emails and websites.

Intuit support can help you determine if an email is from Intuit or a possible phishing email that needs to be forwarded to our security team for assessment. You can reach out to them to help you determine if it was an official call from Intuit. If so, the agent you're working with should see official notes from the agent who reached out to you on your account history.

Your vigilance helps us enhance security for everyone. If you have any questions related to QuickBooks, please let me know. I'm here to lend a hand.
