Question

Can I delete all previous reconciliations and start from scratch?

Started QB to complete a tax year audit after business was started. Now, I've added all previous payments and deposits, however now reconciling makes for messy reports. Since all data is now in the program, I'd like to delete all reconciliations and start from scratch to get cleaner reports

You can manually undo previous reconciliations by changing the status of the reconciled transactions in the Register, Steff.

Here's how:

  1. Locate the account that has the reconciled transaction. Then select View register.
  2. In the checkmark ✔ column, select the box with the R until the box is blank or cleared (C). This removes the transaction from the reconciliation.
  3. Select Save.
  4. Choose Yes to confirm.
