Can you close open estimates in a batch instead of one by one?

Yes, you can batch delete open estimates in your QuickBooks account, info2230.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Sales & Get Paid menu and choose Sales transactions.
2. Choose Estimate as the transaction type.
3. In the Statuses dropdown, choose Pending or other status.
4. Place a checkmark in the box next to the Date column.
   
   
5. Click the drop-down menu under Batch action. 
6. Select Delete. 
   
   
7. Click Delete to the prompt message.

Please note that you can delete transactions in bulk, including invoices and sales receipts. But, other types of transactions cannot be deleted in batches.
