Customise Sales Invoices

How can I customise sales invoices.  Help tells me to go to settings from there go to custom form settings but I do not have that option in my settings list.  So is  there another way I can customise my sales invoices please

Hello Pamela, the steps you saw from the Help feature are related to the QuickBooks Online (QBO) version. However, we have a different way to customise sales invoices in QuickBooks Desktop by going to the List menu.

 

From the Lists menu, select Templates. Double-click your chosen invoice to open the Basic Customization window, where you can make your desired changes. Click OK to save.

 

When creating an invoice, ensure you select the custom template you have designed.
