Question

Does anyone else have issues importing data? I'm simply trying to upload price/rates. It fails everything time stating I need to add inventory qty.

Per it's demand, I include description , price, type, and taxable. Now it's demanding that I provide inventory qty. If i do that I'm afraid it will add additional inventory into my system. If i try to use the old layout, it auto populates "quantity as of date" WHY?!?!?

Hi there, evanslegacyawards. I completely understand how important it is to update your prices and rates without affecting your existing inventory quantities.

When uploading inventory items, QuickBooks Online requires the product name, product type, quantity, and quantity as of date, which is why you're being prompted to enter a number.

To ensure the program does not add or duplicate quantities, make sure to check the box labeled "Overwrite all values for each product or service that you import with the identical name." Additionally, ensure that the quantity in your file matches the quantity already in your account.

Let us know if you need further assistance or clarification. We're here to help ensure everything imports seamlessly.
