Error message line items not totaling selected amount in invoice

I’m trying to add items to an invoice and keep getting the above error message. I can not add any items, save the invoice, or send it. How do I get past this error and what is causing it?

You'll want to ensure that the details of your created invoices are complete, heidi15.

 

Saving an incomplete invoice can lead to the error message you've encountered. Once it's verified that the details are accurate and complete, I suggest refreshing the browser you're using, logging out, and then logging back in to your account. It refreshes the account connection and resolves issues that occurred in your last session.

 

If the issue persists, I recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) Phone Support Team so they can further investigate your account, identify the cause of the issue, and suggest a possible resolution. Here's how:

 

  1. In the upper right corner, select the (?) Help icon beside the Assistant tab.
  2. Click the Contact Us option below.
  3. Enter a brief description of your concern and select Continue.
  4. Pick either Chat or Callback.
