Estimate Status is Not Updating After a Customer Approves an Estimate

When we send an estimate to our customers for them to approve and pay a deposit, once they approve and pay we get an email.  Then in the past, when you went to the estimate in QBO you would see in the Status: Approved.  Now it does not show approved.  Please fix this.

The "Approved" status will not be displayed, as the available statuses for estimates in QuickBooks Online (QBO) are Pending, Accepted, Converted, and Declined. When a customer approves an estimate, you will receive an email with the subject line "Estimate Approved!" The status in QBO will then automatically update to "Accepted".

Here's a sample screenshot:

You can also perform a test by creating an estimate, sending it to your email, then approving it, and checking whether the status changes to "Accepted.

If there are no changes and the status remains "Pending," let's troubleshoot your QuickBooks Online account by clearing the cache to delete the temporarily stored files and browsing history. Also, ensure you're using supported, up-to-date browsers to rule out any potential browser-related issues.
