Fishbowl Inventory not connecting to Quickbooks

Hi, I use Quickbooks desktop and Fishbowl Inventory. They are both normally connected and Fishbowl exports data to Quickbooks. Recently Fishbowl has stopped connecting to Quickbooks for some reason. I tried to resync the two but it cannot establish a connection to Quickbooks. Below is the error code, does any have any ideas?

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Intuit\QuickBooks\Company Files\Mid-America Chemical, Inc..qbw XML could not be parsed. XML Expected start tag, found end of document (line 1, col 0)

Hi there, robertward5452.

The error you encountered may have been triggered by your application. A parsing error occurs when the application attempts to send information that QuickBooks cannot understand. This typically happens when a field contains more characters than QuickBooks allows.

To resolve this issue, I recommend reaching out to your Fishbowl provider and informing them of the error you received.

@robertward5452

It's time for you to find a replacement and integrate it with QB Desktop.

I'm sure you already figured out how to fix this, since you posted in January.

Neither of the answers that were given were in the least appropriate or helpful.

For anyone experiencing this in the future, just do this:

Step 0: Login to the computer where your company file is hosted.

Step 1: Close Quickbooks and end task in Task Manager.

Step 2: End all related tasks to Quickbooks in Task Manager.

Step 3: Launch the Quickbooks Tool Hub and run a quick fix on your company file. Please make sure you have the latest version of the Tool Hub and that you are running this on the computer or server that your company file is located on.

Step 4: Relaunch your Quickbooks Desktop application with Administrator Privilege. Do this by right-clicking the desktop icon and pushing Run As Administrator.

Step 5: Re-run your export in Fishbowl.

This has worked 100% of the time for me when exporting.
