We have gotten a call everyday this week from an Allen Smith saying that he is from QB and we needed to pay our annual subscription with a card. Number is [PII Removed] ext 107. Distinctive middle eastern accent and very demanding to get payment over the phone. Subscription is paid and we have a payment receipt from Intuit. Everyone please be careful!

Since you've paid your subscription and have the official receipt from Intuit, I recommend reporting your experience to Intuit Support to ensure the safety of your account.

Phishing, spam, and spoofing are schemes used to steal personal information by impersonating legitimate companies, such as Intuit. Fraudsters use urgent language in emails, texts, or fake websites to pressure you into clicking links, downloading attachments, or sharing passwords. Protect your data by learning to identify official Intuit communications and following security best practices.

For more details, please see this page: Identify suspicious activity and phishing scams.

You can also check this article to see list of emails used by Intuit: Identify the official emails used by Intuit Payments.

Feel free to click the Reply button if you have more questions about the program.
