Hello, can I retrieve an old expense (cheque) entry I deleted in error? Should have just edited cheque. Please help?

Once a transaction has been deleted, it will be erased from your books and the action can't be reversed. 

You can recover some details of the transaction using the audit log in QuickBooks so that you can re-enter it.
