Is there a way to add the 2.99% credit card processing free to the invoices if the customer chooses to pay with a card?

Currently, the option to add a credit card processing fee to invoices is unavailable, @MC74.

As an alternative, you can manually create a service item and name it Credit Card Processing Fee. Then, add the service item to your invoices so your customers can see and include this fee in their payment.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Products and services.
  2. Click on New drop-down icon and choose Service.
  3. Enter the name of your service item. (Example: Credit Card Processing Fee).
  4. Select the correct income account to track the processing fee.
  5. Then, click Save and Close.

Next, add the service item to your invoices along with your other items. Here’s how:

  1. In the Customer Hub menu, select Customers.
  2. Choose the customer whose invoice you want to add the cc processing fee to.
  3. Locate the invoice and select View/Edit.
  4. Add the Credit Card Processing Fee in the product/service item.
  5. Review it and click Save and Close.

@MC74

You need to use a 3rd party payment processor to sync with QBO. Are you B2B or B2C?
