How can we print Legal AND dba company name on 1099s

In prior years our processing of 1099s within QuickBooks correctly showed our LEGAL name as well as our dba name.  (dba printed below the Legal Name)
This year the 1099s were generated with only the DBA name.
The IRS rejected those 1099s and we VOIDED them within QuickBooks and recreated them – however, only the LEGAL name displayed on these.  We will communicate with our vendors regarding this change.
QuickBooks support said we cannot print both; why was that feature removed?

Yes, for the tax year 2023, 1099s will only print your company's legal name, NancyC1. I'll share more details about this below.
