In QuickBooks Online (QBO), there are various ways to personalize email content, @coastalwaterworks. One solution is to customize the default messaging for sales forms in the Accounts and settings. This allows you to modify the subject line and body of the email to align with your company's voice and policies.

Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the Gear icon, then Account and settings.
  2. Go to the Sales tab and hover over the Messages section.
  3. Click the Edit icon and choose the sales form (e.g., invoice, estimate, or sales receipt) you want to customize.
  4. Modify the text in the Email message box to reflect your preferred messaging.
  5. Complete any additional details as needed.
  6. Hit Save, then Done.

Another option is to edit the default email template for your invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in the Custom form styles. Then, use the preset messaging by clicking My Default in the preview window. If you prefer, we can also manually change the email details there. Please see the screenshots below for both options.
