How do I find everything in the new QuickBooks Online interface after the home page changed?

Help! I just logged in to QB online, and the page it takes me to when I log in has completely changed. All the bookmarks that were on the left side of my screen are completely gone. How can I get it back to the way it was?!?

QuickBooks Online has moved to a new interface. Most of what you used before is still there, it has just moved. The left-side icon menu is your main navigation hub, and everything works by hovering over or selecting the icons.

Here's where to find the things you're most likely looking for:

Your bookmarks (the quick-access links you saved)

Hover over the Bookmarks icon in the left menu to see your saved pages. To add the page you're currently on, select + Bookmark current page. To edit your list, hover over Bookmarks and select the Edit (pencil) icon.

Creating transactions

Select +Create in the left menu to start a new invoice, bill, expense, payment, or other transaction.

Accounting, banking, and other task hubs

Select All apps (the tile icon) in the left menu to reach Accounting, Sales, Customers, and all other task hubs. You can pin your most-used hubs to the menu for faster access by selecting Customize at the bottom of the navigation.

Reports

Select Reports in the left menu to reach your full report list.

Home page

Select Home to see your business at a glance, including bank account balances, profit and loss, and cash flow. You can add, remove, and rearrange the widgets to show what matters most to you — select Customize in the top right of the Home page to get started.

It can take a few days to get comfortable with the new layout, but most people find it becomes natural quickly. If there is something specific you cannot find, please let us know and we will be happy to point you in the right direction!

You can perform browser troubleshooting steps to resolve the bookmarks issue, @SarahCO.

First, let’s clear your browser's cache and cookies specific to Intuit to remove excess data. As an alternative, you can try using a different supported browser to avoid compatibility issues.

However, if you want to opt out of the new QBO experience or interface. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account as the primary admin.
  2. Go to Settings and select the Switch button to revert to the previous QuickBooks interface.

Thanks! I did switch back to the old version. That new version is terrible. I had a major anxiety attack when I could no longer find everything that they moved.
