You’ll need to first enable the account numbers option in Account and Settings, @ered.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to Settings and select Account and Settings.
  2. Navigate to the Advanced tab and find the Chart of Accounts section.
  3. Toggle on the option to Enable account numbers.
  4. Click Save and then Done.

Next, ensure that you add the account numbers in your Chart of Accounts (COA). Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon or Settings and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click the drop-down menu beside an account and select Edit.
  3. Enter the account number in the designated field and click Save.

Once done, you can view them in the Balance Sheet or Trial Balance reports. Here’s how:

  1. Navigate to Reports from the left-hand panel.
  2. Search for Balance Sheet or Trial Balance and select the report.
  3. Customize the report by filtering the Report Period and other settings as needed.
  4. Review the list of accounts to confirm that the account numbers are displayed correctly.
