Nice to see you here in the Community, @usertony3. I'm aware of the importance of managing your business with QuickBooks Online (QBO) flawlessly. Please know this isn't the kind of impression I want you to have with QBO.

The pop-ups are intended to assist our users in effortlessly exploring QBO. Since this interferes with your ability to conduct business, I suggest selecting the X or No, thanks buttons to get rid of the pop-up windows.

If you're using Google Chrome, you can follow this article to guide you on how to block the ads: Block certain ads.

Additionally, you can enable the pop-up blocker in your browser. I'll show you how.

  1. Click the lock icon to the left of the address bar.
  2. Select Site Settings (Google Chrome) or Permission for this site (Mozilla browser).
  3. Hover to the Pop-ups and redirects section, and choose Block from the drop-down menu.

Here's how for the Safari browser:

  1. Open your Safari browser.
  2. Click Safari, then Preferences.
  3. Select Websites at the top
  4. Click Pop-up Windows on the left sidebar
  5. Then select Block in the pop-up menu for the website.

On the other hand, you can send feedback to our Product Developer team. This way, they can review and consider adding a feature where you can disable the ads in the program.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Then, click Next to submit feedback.

You can visit our QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website to track the status of your submitted feedback.

Furthermore, I'm attaching this article that can efficiently guide you in supervising your account: Learn about QuickBooks Online with how-to videos.

If you have any more questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to post back in this thread. Have a great day!

So therefore, your "official response" is basically:

  1. "Too bad.  Suffer through the time wasters we force on you."; and
  2. "Feel Free to waste your time submitting feedback we will ignore."

...not surprised...

Also, it appears QBO removed a thread where this was being discussed, as the users were expressing their frustration to the point of probably hurting QBO's bottom line.

After years of complaints, this morning I open up my QBO to input some quick data, and find a small, 1/2" banner across the top of the screen touting QBO Advanced. A minor pain, compared to the bottom half of the screen with a banner totally blocking any attempt to see any data.

So, after feedback about having to click to close these banners so I can work, the QBO solution is to double down on the number of banners. That is great customer service. And they wonder why so many of us tell others in our industry to choose anything but Quickbooks?
