Question

How do you look up customer history since QB self-employed has removed the search feature from the desktop version? 15 years of invoice history suddenly unavailable.

You can still view 15 years of your invoice history by filtering by Status and Date.

In the Invoices tab, click the Status and Date dropdowns and select All. You can then locate the invoice by scrolling or by using the browser's "Find" feature by pressing Ctrl on your keyboard to search for the customer's name.

Sorry.  I'm not following.  I want to look up a past invoice from a year ago, or two years ago, or even three years in some cases.  I need to see what services were provided to a customer.  For example, an impeller service is generally a three year interval.  How do I do that without scrolling through 36 months of invoices to dozens of customers.  That's absurd.  The search by customer was available previously.  Looking up past invoices is a basic and essential function that needs to be returned.
