When you pull up the sales tax report, it typically shows a summary of sales tax collected and sales tax owed, farida1.

There are three sales tax reports that you can run in QuickBooks Online (QBO); these are as follows:

  1. Sales Tax Liability - this report shows how much sales tax you've collected and how much you owe to tax agencies. Under the Tax Amount column, you'll see the amount of the tax.
  2. Taxable Sales Summary - this report shows your total sales of taxable products and service.
  3. Taxable Sales Details - this report details your sales of taxable products and services, including the date, transaction type, customer, quantity, rate, amount, and balance.
