With our new contact us feature, getting in touch with support has never been easier. Simply log in to QuickBooks and follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Help icon at the top right, then click Contact Us.
  2. Enter a short description of your concern.
  3. Hit Let's talk.
  4. Pick Start messaging.

Once done, the program will connect you with an available agent within 5 minutes.

can't even get initially  logged in ...so unable to log in...

Hi Gary,

 

I want to help you successfully log into the QuickBooks Online account you're invited. Have you tried opening a private window or clearing the browser's cache before accepting the invite? If not, I suggest doing that first to check for browser related problems.

 

However, if the issue you're getting requires login validation, you can directly contact our Support Team. Our representatives can review your authentication ID and help correct your credentials.

 

Use the QBO test drive to get our updated phone number. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to this link: https://qbo.intuit.com/redir/testdrive
  2. On the QBO Dashboard, click the Help (?) icon at the top right.
  3. Select Contact Us at the bottom to connect with our live support.

My first online payments are beginning to come in but I have received word there are problems. Who do I speak with to find out what is wrong?

I was able to do some research to check for any problems with online payments. I didn't see any reports of issues with the payments coming in. You're welcome to follow up here any time, and I or one of my colleagues can give you an update.

 

Additionally, if you'd like to contact support a different way, this can be done by:

 

1. Clicking the Help button in the top right corner of your QuickBooks Online account.

2. Select Contact Us.

3. Enter Support in the field and choose Let's talk.

4. From here you can select to receive a callback at a time that's convenient for you, chat with an agent, or post here in the Community.

I have an employee that got logged out of his workforce app on his iPhone. He can now not log into his workforce app. 

Is there a place where he can change his password. He can't remember what it is. He has never been logged out like this.

When an employee forgets the password when logging into the Workforce page, all they have to do is select the I forgot my user ID or password link and follow the onscreen instructions.

Its going well, thanks hope yours it too.

 

ok so that actually does not show up for him. When he clicks on his user name it brings him to "Enter your password" page. ( he doesn't remember his password) but he did the "text a code" to get a code sent to his phone and he did that and sends him straight back to the user ID to log in again.

You'll want to go to our Global portal and sign up for an English Global subscription without calling our support. Though, if you need assistance with technical issues, you can reach out to our technical support team directly. Here’s how:

 

1. Click (?) Help in the upper right-hand corner of your QBO.
2. Go to the Search tab.
3. Type in your concern, then press enter.
4. Select Contact Us.
5. Click Chat with us.

that’s just it, I’m unable to sign on to my expired trial nor to create a new account using a different email.  Hence my 3 requests for a callback.  It’s been 5 days, no callback.   I am looking to subscribe with a new trial for QBO to ensure I can EASILY log back in once I log out.

You can update your employee's phone number by going to the employee's profile in Workforce Payroll.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Navigate to All apps, select Team, and then click Employees.
  2. Choose the employee you need to update and select the Personal tab.
  3. From there, click the Pencil icon in the Contact info section.
  4. Update the correct phone number in the Mobile phone area.
  5. When finished, select Save.

 

Once that's corrected, have the employee try to set up again and request a new code.

Are you logging in as the employer or the employee?

 

If you are the employer, you can already access all historical pay stubs directly in QuickBooks. However, if you are an employee, we recommend downloading the QuickBooks Workforce mobile app to view your full history without any limitations. If you prefer using a web browser, the portal restricts views to 6 months at a time.

 

To access your older pay stubs through a web browser, you can manually adjust the date range filters to your preferred prior dates. Please ensure that the selected timeframe spans no more than 6 months at a time so the system can successfully load and display the records.

Logging in as the employee.  

when I adjust the date range it says I may not exceed 6 months. I need older than that.  Why is this such a difficult ask? Employers are required to keep them for at least 3 yrs.

I recognize the hassle and inconvenience caused. The 6-month limit isn't a restriction on how far back you can look into your history. It is simply a cap on the size of the date range window you can search at a single time, which ensures the pages load quickly without timing out.

For instance, if you need to pull your stubs for the entire year of 2025, you would just split the search into two steps. First, set the date from January 1, 2025, to June 30, 2025, to view and download those documents. Right after, modify the dates from July 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, to access the second half of the year.
