I am trying to correct 1099's I sent yesterday. Under actions it only says view, not correct.

Also, I need to correct the mailed ones. Any help?

Hi there, Jericho. Let me explain why you can’t correct your 1099s you filed yesterday.

 

The Correct option will appear once the IRS accepts your 1099s. Since you just filed yesterday, the forms are likely still in Submitted or Pending status. The IRS usually takes 1–2 business days to process, which is why you're only seeing the View option for now.

 

 

Regarding your second concern, if you’re referring to the mailed 1099s to your contractors, no changes are needed. Simply wait for the form to be corrected and filed, then resend it with the updated details.
