Hi there, @chinoyviraf. It sounds like you're experiencing an issue where QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 24 tries to open but disappears or fails to launch properly. This issue could be caused by a damaged program file, an incomplete installation, or background processes conflicting with QuickBooks.

Here’s how you can resolve it:

Step 1: Use the QuickBooks Tool Hub to help fix errors in QuickBooks.

  1. Close QuickBooks on your computer.
  2. Download the latest version of the QuickBooks Tool Hub (version 1.6.0.8).
  3. Save the file somewhere easy to find, such as your desktop or Downloads folder.
  4. Open the downloaded file (QuickBooksToolHub.exe) and follow the on-screen installation steps. Agree to the terms and conditions.
  5. Once installed, double-click the QuickBooks Tool Hub icon on your desktop to open the program.

Step 2: Run Quick Fix My Program (in Tool Hub)

  1. In the Tool Hub, select Program Problems.
  2. Click Quick Fix My Program to stop any background processes QuickBooks could be using and repair the software.
  3. Reopen QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise Solutions.

If the issue continues, proceed to Solution 2: Rename the QBWUSER.ini file, as explained in the article: Opening QuickBooks splash screen displays and disappears without opening QuickBooks Desktop.

@chinoyviraf

Install the trial version of QB Desktop 2023 to isolate the problem.

This usually means QuickBooks is crashing silently on launch, not that it’s failing to install. Common causes with Enterprise 24 are a bad update, damaged QB components, or a corrupted user profile/company file. A few quick things to try if you haven’t already: open Tool Hub -Program Problems - Quick Fix My Program, then try launching QB as Administrator. Also temporarily disable antivirus, and make sure Enterprise 24 is fully updated (or roll back the last update if this started right after one). If QB opens with a sample company but vanishes with your real file, that points to company file corruption, not the program itself. If there’s no usable backup, some users try a repair attempt on a copy of the file using third party repair tools like Stellar Repair for QuickBooks for logical corruption before escalating to Intuit support.
