I can't get anything done due to intrusive "upgrade" pop ups

Something changed over the weekend because now i get non stop "upgrade your QuickBooks to things you don't need" advertisements constantly this weekend. I've been logged into QuickBooks and have gotten 5 in 5 minutes!
I am already a paying customer and the fact the quickbooks doesn't respect that makes me want to use someone else. this is EXTREMELY disrespectful and intrusive. how do i turn this junk off?
5 of these in 5 minutes. it's every time i go in or out of an invoice, i get one of these! how annoying!

The upgrade prompts and promotional notifications in QuickBooks Online are event-based, meaning they are triggered by specific actions within the application—such as opening, editing, or saving an invoice. These prompts are designed to introduce features or service tiers that may align with your workflow. Currently, there is not a global setting or toggle to disable all event-triggered pop-ups permanently, and standard browser pop-up blockers do not affect them because they are embedded directly within the app interface.

How to send your feedback to the product team

While pop-ups cannot be turned off entirely from the workspace, you can manage your communication settings and submit feedback directly to the product team to request customizable notification controls. Here are the available steps and resources:

  1. Submit direct product feedback: Select the Gear icon at the top right of your QuickBooks Online screen and select Feedback. For a complete guide on how product suggestions are routed and processed, see Give feedback on QuickBooks products and services.
  2. Review account & notification preferences: To ensure your general marketing and account preferences are configured to minimize external promotional communications, review Set up company settings in QuickBooks.
  3. View existing feature requests: You can browse, vote on, and track feature requests submitted by other business owners regarding pop-up suppression and workflow customization on the official QuickBooks Online Product Feedback portal.

I have my pop-up blocker on, and I am still getting them.  It's TOTALLY pissing me off.  I can't get any work done.

Hello. I understand the frustration. These offers are "event-based," meaning they are triggered by specific actions within the software. While intended to be helpful suggestions, I can see how they have become an obstacle to your workflow.

Currently, there isn't a built-in option to turn these off permanently. I suggest submitting your feedback directly to our product engineers so they can consider this for future updates. You can do this by going to the Gear icon > Feedback > enter your request > and click Next to submit.

In the meantime, please consider clearing that specific window by clicking the small 'X' in the top-left corner. While it’s not a permanent "off" switch, it will get the ad out of your way for now.

Please don't hesitate to leave us a response if you have other questions or concerns.

Download the chrome extension called "Click to remove element". Go to 3 vertical dots at top right corner, scroll down to Extensions, select Visit Chrome Web Store, type "Click to remove element" in search bar (looks like a radiation icon), select add to Chrome.

I highly recommend you then go to Hector Garcia's QB tutorial "Remove Popups from QuickBooks Online" on how it works.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7PVNSkkjas.

It's easy to use but Hector explains how to fix it if you delete the wrong thing.

It's a thing of beauty...haven't cried at my desk since downloading it!!!
