I’m trying to add my debit card for instant deposit and it says phone number not found. I already have my phone number added and verified.

You may contact your bank directly to verify the phone number assigned to your account to ensure it matches.

1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account on the mobile app.

2. Go to the Menu tab.

This error occurs when the phone number you're using is incorrect and does not match the registered number associated with the bank account you are trying to set up for instant deposit. To avoid this error, ensure that you enter the phone number registered to the debit card account.
 
If the issue persists even after confirming it's the number registered to your bank account, I recommend contacting QuickBooks Online (QBO) support using your mobile application. They have the complete tools to review your account and why your phone number isn't recognized, even after verifying. Here's how:

 

  1. Log in to your QBO application.
  2. Go to the Menu tab.
  3. Select the Help icon.
  4. Then, follow the on-screen steps.
