I need to remove the vehicle, when filing since 2023 I am asked to enter business mileage. I cannot proceed and have to call Turbo Tax to correct.

Hello there, Christine. You’ll have to reach out to TurboTax support for assistance in filing and correcting.

In QuickBooks Self-Employed, even if a vehicle is marked as inactive, deductions or amounts may still appear on the tax details page. To prevent this, you must ensure that no trip data is entered for that inactive vehicle for the current tax year, which will keep it from being included in deduction calculations or appearing on your Schedule C. Contacting TurboTax support can help you verify these details, clear any carry-over data, and assist with the final filing.

We’re always here to help you if you have any other concerns.
