Question

If I don't want to pay for PCI compliance, can I just stop taking credits cards for future payments? Do I need to be PCI compliant to take ACH payments?

Thank you for choosing QuickBooks to support your business, jmulhern.

Even if you decide not to accept credit cards for future payments, all merchants using QuickBooks Payments must remain PCI compliant as long as their account is active and they continue processing payments, including ACH transactions. This requirement is established by global card brands to ensure the protection of businesses and customers from cardholder data breaches.
