Question

If the app isn’t open and running in the background and misses a trip, how can I add that trip to log the miles? TIA

Hi there, info2403. If you miss tracking a trip, you can manually add it to QuickBooks Solopreneur by entering the date, start/end locations, and total distance in the mileage section.

If you’re using an iOS device, go to the Mileage menu, tap the Plus (+) icon, and select Create trip. Enter your trip details and select Save.

If you’re using an Android device, tap the Menu icon, select Mileage, tap the Plus (+) icon, and choose Add business trip. Enter the details and select Save.

Following these steps ensures your business records remain complete and accurate for tax season.
