If we only use the schedule portion of Tsheets, do the team members have to have access

As a Dispatcher I use only the schedule as my planner. We do not use any time entries.

If you’re only using the Schedule feature in QuickBooks Time (TSheets) as a planner and do not track or require time entries, your team members aren’t required to have individual access to QB Time unless you want them to view their schedules directly.

 

You can manage and update the schedule yourself without giving team members access. However, if you prefer that your team members view their schedules directly in QuickBooks Time, you’ll need to grant them user access.

 

Here’s how to adjust permissions for a team member:

 

  1. Select Go to Classic QuickBooks Time.
  2. Navigate to My Team.
  3. Select the team member’s name.
  4. Go to the Permissions tab, make adjustments, and select Save.

 

If you'd like specific team members to view schedules for their group only, you can set permissions using the Group option in Schedule preferences.

 

Here’s how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Schedule Preferences.
  3. Choose the Group radio button to restrict or allow access to specific groups.

 

If you don't want to grant team members access, you can share schedules by printing, exporting, or emailing them, keeping control while keeping your team informed.
