Thank you for sharing this matter in the Community forum, @terra6. When paying a bill with your business credit card in QuickBooks Online, the best practice is to use the Pay Bills feature. This ensures that your accounts payable are properly reduced, and your credit card liability is accurately recorded.

You can follow these steps:

  1. Go to + Create, then select Pay Bills.
  2. Choose the vendor and the bill you want to pay.
  3. For the Payment account, tick the Credit Card account (the business credit card you used to pay).
  4. Enter the Payment date and amount.
  5. Click Save and close.

Using the Pay Bills feature to pay your bills with a business credit card in QuickBooks Online helps keep your records accurate and organized. If you have encountered any challenges while navigating the feature, please don't hesitate to click the Reply button, and we'll be right here to help you anytime. Take care!
