In the QB expense program I entered a train ticket expense for $4. The program changed the value to $400!?

To clarify, when you click the amount showing $400, are you able to click on it and type a new value?

In general, expense transactions in QuickBooks are editable. If you find that you cannot click on or modify the amount field, here’s a workaround:

Open the expense showing $400. Click the More > Delete. Once deleted, create a new expense and enter $4 as the correct amount, then click Save and close.
