We are exploring potential integration opportunities for third-party applications within the QuickBooks Online (QBO) user interface and would appreciate detailed guidance on the following points:
1. Integration Points:
What are the allowed integration points in the QBO UI for 3rd-party apps (e.g., on Customer details page, Apps tab, left nav)?
2. Deep Linking to Partner Portals:
Does QBO support the ability to add deep links from its UI to external partner portals? If so, what are the recommended approaches or limitations we should be aware of?
3. UI Event-Driven Interactions:
Is it feasible within the QBO platform to trigger in-context UI elements (such as pop-ups or modals) or deep links to partner portals based on user interactions or events in the QBO interface?
4. Notes Section Formatting:
Does the "Notes" section within QBO support rich text formatting (e.g., bold, italic, bullet lists, hyperlinks)? If so, please share the capabilities and constraints of this feature. We would appreciate any available documentation or examples to better understand what is technically feasible within the QBO ecosystem. This query is applicable for all companies and not for a specific company and we don't have a TID to provide as these were generic questions that we are interested in inquiring about.
