Question

Is there a way to change the % percentage amount in the new TIP option on invoices? Also a way to change it from TIP to Gratuity?

I see there is a new option to add a Tip/Gratuity line to invoices and it appears when they process payment by ACH or CC. However, by default it gives option of 5%, 10% and 15% but I'd like to edit this to be %15, 18 and 20. I'd also like to change the word TIP to the word Gratutity. Any way to edit?

Hi there!

It’s a great idea to customize your tip percentages and labels to better fit your business. Currently, QuickBooks Online has these as fixed defaults, so they cannot be modified.

While the preset percentages cannot be changed, your customers can manually enter any amount by clicking the $0.00 custom option during the payment process.

OK, can you please send a request for the ability to edit/change these amounts.

Typically in the US gratuity amounts for services are 15%, 18 and 20%   NOT 5% and 10%
