Question

My quickbook report made an error. It didn't calculate an amout for dec 2025. How do I make the correction on the quickbook report

I made a payment for dec 2025 but the report did not include that payment in the total for the year.

Hello, Kathy. Let's walk through some troubleshooting steps to determine why your December 2025 payment isn't appearing on your QuickBooks Self-Employed report.

First off, it’s important to note that reports are automatically generated based on the data in your Transactions tab. This means we're unable to edit or make changes to the report directly. Instead, we can verify the transaction and review the report settings to identify the issue.

Start by navigating to your Transactions tab and searching for the December 2025 payment. Ensure the payment is dated December 2025, and confirm whether it has been categorized correctly.

Once confirmed, review the report settings to ensure the date range includes all of December 2025. For a full-year report, set the date range from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, or directly choose the Last year option.
