print error help

One of my workstations just started printing sales orders down the center of the page and only printing half of the document. It’s as if it’s trying to print to a 4X6 label printer or something. Nothing was changed in any of the settings and everything matches with settings from PC’s that are printing correctly. I’ve attached a screenshot of the error that I get. Anyone know how to remedy this?

The behavior where sales orders print down the center typically involves a print configuration issue, Topher. Since you’ve already verified that no changes were made to the settings, I recommend using the QuickBooks Tool Hub to diagnose and fix common printing issues in the software.

To begin, let's secure a backup of your company file to reinstate your accounting data if you ever run into a problem with it, and proceed with the steps below:

  1. Close QuickBooks, then download and install the latest QuickBooks Tool Hub.
  2. Once installed, open the Tool Hub and select Program Problems.
  3. Click QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool.
  4. After the repair completes, start QuickBooks Desktop and try printing your sales orders again.

Another option is to follow Solution 2: Restart and reset your Temp folder permissions, outlined in the article: Fix PDF and Print problems with QuickBooks Desktop.
