Question

QB 2024 for Mac: Template field won't allow for Screen.

Can’t add an image. Tried Mac and Windows, tried PNG, JPEG, and GIF. No joy. The bottom of the screen says “Please wait for your files to be uploaded” and it doesn’t go away until I exit the browser.

Anyway, when editing a template, in the Sales Receipt Fields dialog, the Project field has the Print item enabled but the checkbox for Screen is dimmed. How can I fix this??? Thanks

Please make sure that the attachment you upload does not exceed the 10MB limit, as larger files may take longer to process or fail to upload.

Regarding your Sales Receipt template, could you please share a few more details or a screenshot showing where the Project field, Print Item, or the screen checkbox appears dimmed?

If you are referring to a custom field that is not displaying project options in the sales receipt Additional fields, I recommend checking that those options are properly configured in your settings.

Here's how:

  1. Navigate to Settings and select Custom fields.
  2. Locate the specific field, then click Edit.
  3. Make sure all necessary options are added to the list.
  4. Hit Save to keep the changes.

For more information on managing these settings, please refer to this article: Create and edit custom fields.
