In May 2026 I completed my Quickbooks certificate renewal. Last week I received an email from Intuit to say that my certificate has expired and I will have to redo the entire exam to recertify.

Is this some kind of error as I've already done my renewal and have the pdf certificate. I've attached a screenshot of it as I'm not sure how to upload a pdf here. Can anyone please advise?

This can be a system error or an account sync issue. Sometimes Intuit's automated system sends out scheduled expiration reminders based on your original certification date, failing to recognize the recent renewal.

To verify your status, you can check your live account.

Here’s how:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online Accountant portal.
  2. Click on ProAdvisor in the left menu, then select the Training tab.
  3. Check the status listed next to your certification.

If it shows as Active, your account is fully up to date, and you can safely ignore the email you received.

However, if it shows as Expired, please double-check that you are logged in using the exact email address and user ID associated with your PDF certificate.
