QuickBooks Desktop 2021 – Intuit Sign-In Freezes

Hello QuickBooks Team,
We are using QuickBooks Pro 2021 Desktop (3-user multi-user environment) installed on Windows Server 2022 Standard.
Everything was working normally until we restarted the server. After restart, we received error -6175, 0 and were unable to open the company file.
To fix this:
I went to File > Utilities, stopped Hosting Multi-User Access, then enabled Hosting again
After this, the company file opened successfully.
However, a new issue appeared:
When trying to send invoices to customers, QuickBooks asks to sign in to the Intuit account. Although I am logged in as Admin in QuickBooks, the Intuit sign-in window opens but freezes and never completes the login process.
The screen remains stuck and does not proceed.
As a result:
• We cannot send invoices
• We cannot use email functionality
• The Intuit account login does not complete
Has anyone experienced Intuit sign-in freezing after resolving error -6175,0?
What is the proper fix for this?
I really appreciate your prompt reply and thank you all in advance.

Did you reinstall your license?

I reset the Intuit Login Cache and deleted the EntitlementDataStore.ecml file, as I believed this might fix the problem. Unfortunately, this action resulted in the loss of the software activation, and I am now receiving a message stating that the activation limit has been exceeded.

Hi there, Omid. I appreciate you getting back in the thread.

Since you accidentally deleted the EntitlementDataStore.ecml file, you can check your computer's Recycle Bin to see if the EntitlementDataStore.ecml file is there; if you find it, you can right-click the file and restore it.

However, please keep in mind that restoring this file may not resolve the login issue. Because QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) 2021 has been discontinued, it no longer receives the necessary updates or support to maintain connection with Intuit’s login services. To resolve this, I highly recommend upgrading your QBDT to the latest release.

I appreciate you for providing the detailed information of your experience, Omid.  I'm glad to hear you resolved error 6175 on your own. The reason why Intuit login process isn't working is that you're using an outdated version of the software, such as the 2022 edition or earlier. This prevents you from accessing online features like sending invoices.

To fix this, you will need to upgrade to the latest version of QuickBooks Desktop, which includes updates enabling the use of QuickBooks Email, allowing you to log in successfully and resume sending invoices.

Here's how to upgrade:

  1. Sign in to camps.intuit.com.
  2. In the Products & Services list, select QuickBooks Desktop 2023 or newer.
  3. Select Details, then Download.
  4. Then, install QuickBooks Desktop.

Once the installation is complete, simply sign in to your company file to continue using QuickBooks Email and access all necessary features.

If you have further concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help.

Dear,

I regret to inform you that while attempting to resolve the issue, I reset the Intuit Login Cache and deleted the EntitlementDataStore.ecml file, as I believed this might fix the problem. Unfortunately, this action resulted in the loss of the software activation, and I am now receiving a message stating that the activation limit has been exceeded.

Please note that the software has not been installed on a new machine. This occurred solely while troubleshooting the previous issue.

I kindly request that you reset our license activation at your earliest convenience.

Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your prompt response.

Similar problem when I try to sign into intuit either directly on the message that I need to sign in within 7 days, or through "my company" I just get dots going around in circles.

Frustrating please help

@JLM111

What year version? 2021 or else?

Install the trial version of QB Desktop 2021 Pro to isolate the problem.

How do I try the trial version?

I understand your frustration with the login issue, especially since you've already done so much to access it. You can first uninstall then reinstall your software, as glitched background files can sometimes cause this problem.

Additionally, there’s no option to cache the token locally to bypass the login process. This is a security feature designed to protect Intuit's servers by verifying your identity.

Let us know if you have additional concerns. We’re here to help.

All the login functionality that is no longer working is just breaking my workflow. I don't need to actually talk to Intuit servers as none of my workflow even uses Intuits backend.
