If you're referring to our stop sell for several QuickBooks products for new U.S. based subscribers, which will go into effect after July 31, 2024, this isn't a discontinuation at this time. Instead, it's a stop sell for new purchases, and not a sunsetting of the product line.
Here's a list of which products will be affected by our step sell:
QuickBooks Mac Plus
QuickBooks Pro Plus
QuickBooks Premier Plus
QuickBooks Enhanced Payroll
Existing subscribers won't be impacted by this change. Existing QuickBooks Plus and Payroll subscribers can continue renewing their subscriptions after July, 31, 2024. Intuit will continue to provide security/product updates, and support for existing subscribers.
QuickBooks Enterprise products are also not impacted by this change, and customers can continue to purchase Enterprise subscriptions after July 31, 2024.
No. I believe they will release QB Desktop 2025 Enterprise on schedule. QBO users still need QB Desktop to export data to TurboTax Desktop. You can still purchase a new license or renew it thru selected partners to get a perpetual discounts on renewals.
