Question

Quickbooks is very slow and for a day does not show my bank transations at all. Cannot find any support number to call that id over for the weekend..... What to do?

    Before we proceed, have you received an error message while doing the process, and what financial institution you're in? Providing this information will help me better understand the issue and find the most appropriate solutions for your concern.


    To start, manually updating your bank can re-establish the connection. This feature also enables you to import the most recent transactions, keeping your records current.


    Here are the steps to follow:

     

    1. Go to Transactions and select Bank Transactions.
    2. Select Update.
    3. If prompted, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials and select Continue update.

     

    If the same things happen, you can visit your bank's website to check for any alerts or notifications. These may provide information on why bank transactions aren't syncing properly.

     

    In the meantime, we can manually upload transactions to QuickBooks using a CSV file. This method allows you to import multiple transactions at once. Refer to this page on how to do it: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.


    Additionally, since you mention slow performance within the system, we can log into a private browsing window or a compatible browser to resolve this issue.
    You can use these keyboard shortcuts to a private window:

     

    • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
    • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
    • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
    • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

     

    If the private browsing window works, I suggest deleting the cache history so the system can start fresh. If the issue persists, switch to another supported browser.

If you have QBO Plus, Essentials, or Simple Start, support is available Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday from 6 AM to 3 PM Pacific time.     I am having same problem. My accounts are synced with the bank. I have pending transactions downloaded from the bank that await my acceptance. But the screen below the accounts (where usually I see the pending transactions) is blank. Worse, I cannot see the button to go to the register. I have cleared the cache, shut my computer off and on, etc. The problem persists. And it's painfully slow when updating.
