Quickbooks routinely makes wrong suggestions for payee name and account. I turned off suggestions in the settings as instructed but they still show up wrong. ???

Before you begin troubleshooting, please note that QuickBooks automatically applies your predefined rules to transactions listed in the For Review tab. It is essential to review these transactions daily to ensure accuracy and consistency.

To help resolve your current issue, I suggest opening a private browser window to reconnect your account. This approach will assist in determining whether the problem stems from your browser. Here’s how to proceed:

• Google Chrome, press CTRL  + Shift + N
• Mozilla Firefox: press CTRL  + Shift + P
• Internet Explorer: Press CTRL  + Shift + P
• Safari: press Command + Shift + N

If you're able to successfully turn off suggestions using a private browser, you may need to clear the cache of the regular browser you're using.

If the issues persist, I suggest contacting our live support team so they can further run a series of tests to know the root cause of why it's still showing the wrong payee name and account.

2. Select Search and open any article, then press the Contact Us button.
3. Select a topic or enter your question in the box and hit Continue.
4. Choose the best way you'll want to reach out to us.
