Search Function Issue

Urgent Assistance Required – Search Function Issue
Hello QB community,
I usually file all my relevant documents under a container number so that I can easily search by container number in the description line and view all related invoices and bills. Since yesterday evening, this search function has stopped working. It’s causing significant disruption to my workflow. Someone noticed it or know how can I have this back?

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community!  I understand that you're having challenges utilizing the search box.  No worries. I'm here to provide you with some troubleshooting steps for your browser. Sometimes, cache-related issues can cause QuickBooks Online (QBO) to load incorrectly, preventing you from searching. 

 

Here are the key shortcuts:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

 

If there are no issues with a private browser, please return to your regular browser and clear its cache. From there, use the search bar and let me know if you can get through.

The issue fixed itself after a day, so I didn’t get a chance to try clearing the cache. I appreciate your suggestion and will keep it in mind if it happens again.
