As of Friday MAR27 shipping manager can only be used by admins, who decided this was a good idea? Why was there no warning? Please roll this back.

Hello, @Nick170. I understand the frustration this change caused. The reason this happened is that the Shipping Manager now uses a two-key system for security. Non-admin users now need a local QuickBooks role and an invitation to the Intuit Account.

First, you’ll need to hop in as the Admin to check their local permissions. Just head to Company > Users > Set Up Users and Roles. Find the user’s role, hit Edit, and under the File section, make sure Shipping is checked for full access.

Please note that even with that box checked, the system won't let them in until they are verified online. You’ll need to go to My Company and invite them to the Intuit Account via their email.

Your user must accept that email invite first. Once they do, have them Sign in at the top right of their own My Company screen using that same email.

Once these steps are wrapped up, your team will have seamless access. Moving forward, the Shipping Manager will recognize them automatically as soon as they sign in to QuickBooks.

You can also check out our article on how to use Shipping Manager as a non-admin user for more details.

This is not the answer, everyone of my users has an intuit account (that they are logged into and verified) and has the correct permissions (shipping), I have had a support person verify this while they did remote support last friday. The only way it works is if they are a secondary admin. I am not the only company this has happened to.
